THEDA WINIARZ May 14, 1925 - May 20, 2002 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Theda Winiarz on May 20, 2002. Theda was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Julia; and her brothers, Steve Repa and Raine Leagh. She is survived by her husband Hughie (Julian) children, John and wife Agathe, Janice and husband David, Bryon and wife Diana; and special grandchildren, Catherine, Camille, Jocelyn, Jessica, Alexis and Selina. She also leaves her sister Nadene, brother Julius, special sister-in-law Pat Repa, and many other family members. Thedas outgoing personality lent itself to her lengthy retail career from which she retired in 1990 from the Hudson Bay Company. During her retirement years there were few days that would pass without her running into friends, acquaintances, and customers remembered from those retail years. Her great joys were watching her grandchildren grow, spending time at the cottage at Bird Lake, she and Hughies winter vacations and enjoying time with family and friends. She was a light-hearted person who wasnt afraid to wear a smile, always spoke her mind, and loved her family dearly. She will be deeply missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 24 at 1:00 p.m. in the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 288 Donwood Dr. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
